Answers to some common questions for the bride and groom, so here's a little FAQ guide so that know what to expect, if you have further questions please feel free to ask so that I can add them to this guide over time.
Who will own the final images?
You will own all the edited (digitally developed) images. Images are captured in RAW format and rendered to high resolution jpeg images once edited.
Are the photos watermarked?
Your final images are not watermarked.
Can I print the images?
Yes, you are free to print the images wherever you see fit, however to get the best possible results I also offer competitive print services.
Can I use the images on social media?
Yes, you can can post the images on your social media websites, my only ask is that you mention me when doing so as this helps other couples with their decision making when choosing a wedding photographer.
Do you post images online?
I sometimes like to post images of my recent weddings on my social media pages as it helps me to market my business, however if you feel that you would not like me to do this then I absolutely respect your privacy.
What happens on the engagement session?
The engagement session is a great way for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, for us to get to know each other and for you to know what to expect on your wedding day. We ideally go to your venue for a walk round and take a few images that you cam also use for your wedding invitations. These sessions are usually casually dressed fun sessions.
Do you have insurance if anything goes wrong?
I have complete personal and public liability insurance and I always have a spare full-frame camera, a range of lenses and flashes for the just incase scenario.
What equipment do you use?
I use the top of the range full-frame Nikon cameras and lenses. My go to camera is the Nikon D850 which captures 45.4 MP images and my Spare is the Nikon D750 which is great for low-light situations. My lenses are 24-70mm, 70-200mm, 20mm & 50mm primes. I carry spare batteries, chargers and flashes too.
How do we pay you?
I ask for a 20% deposit which confirms the booking and the balance is due 2-3 weeks before the wedding day. You can pay via bank transfer or cash.
How much do you pay for additional hours?
I charge £100 for each additional hour of wedding photography.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please see my terms and conditions for full information, but in general I charge a deposit which is non-refundable in the event of you canceling the event.
What experience do you have?
I have been a photographer for over 10 years and now concentrate on families and wedding photography. I regularly attend training workshops to make sure I am always up to date and learning new skills, my last workshop was with one of the UK's leading wedding photography schools called The Trained Eye I also keep my equipment up to date and in top working order to ensure I capture the best possible images. What UK locations do you cover?
I travel all over the UK but most of my work is in the south of England covering anywhere from Northampton, Bedfordshire and London to Reigate and Brighton.
Do you have an assistant on the day?
For the majority of my weddings I am the sole photographer however a second shooter maybe required for larger events or extra coverage, this will quote for as a separate requirement.
